IntroductionPicToData is a program that allows a user to extract data from published graphs. To accomplish this, the user simply loads an image and then selects the axes and data points. The program exports the selected data as a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file. A CSV file is easily opened in data spreadsheet applications such as EXCEL. Although this software was designed to be used as part of Pulse_XP, it is very flexible and has many potential uses. System RequirementsPicToData is a .NET applications which requires Windows2000 or WindowsXP. The disk and memory requirements are quite small (about 100K and 10K, respectively). However, any images you wish to use will require additional memory. To take full advantage of the scanning functionality of this program, a Windows Imaging Architecture (WIA) supported scanner or digital camera is required.
